Chicken fillets with sage, lemon & butter

A dish all kids will easily eat. Serve with Basmati Rice.

Serves 4

INGREDIENTS

6 chicken fillets
2 lemons zest & juice
100gr butter
8 small sage leaves
EVOO
Salt & Pepper

PREPARATION

  1. Wash and pat dry the fillets and let them come to room temperature.
  2. Season with salt & pepper.
  3. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the butter and the sage leaves. Saute for 2 minutes till fragrant.
  4. Saute the fillets about 5 minutes on each side.
  5. Add the lemon zest and juice—season to taste.
  6. Add 1 cup of water and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
  7. Serve with Basmati Rice.
